The Texas Legislature just cleared residents to legally carry guns on school campuses, and it’s readying legislation to legalize open carry everywhere in the state. But the pace of its reforms is tyrannically slow, according to longtime gun activist Kory Watkins, and in a new video, he says if lawmakers don’t speed up, they may face death.
One man is here to open carry, the other to open fire.

State-by-state, the gun lobby is working to weaken and eventually eliminate minimum standards to carry concealed weapons in public. We strongly oppose this effort.
A clean recent criminal history and basic gun safety training should be required for a person to carry a hidden, loaded gun in public. Don’t you agree?
Majority of Texas voters oppose campus carry
A survey commissioned by Everytown for Gun Safety says 63 percent of respondents don’t think college students should be allowed to carry concealed handguns on campus. A greater number of those polled opposed concealed handguns in classrooms or dorms.
We’ve reached another tragic milestone.
There have been more than 200 school shootings since January 2013. At least 63 people were killed, and at least 156 injured in those shootings.
We need to elect leaders who support gun safety measures—not ones who push the NRA’s agenda of guns everywhere.
