Two 15-year-old female students were fatally shot at Independence High School in Glendale, Arizona, this morning.
Police are still investigating the case, but it was not an active shooter situation when police arrived on the scene.
This is the seventh school shooting in America this year, and the 167th since 2013.

State-by-state, the gun lobby is working to weaken and eventually eliminate minimum standards to carry concealed weapons in public. We strongly oppose this effort.

A couple of years ago, teens on the South Side of Chicago asked their classmates to wear orange in honor of a friend who was shot and killed. Now, we’re amplifying their call to action and turning orange into a symbol for the value of human life everywhere.
