Eleven years ago today, a gunman opened fire on the campus of Virginia Tech, killing 32 students and educators and injuring over a dozen more.
In honor of the victims of Virginia Tech and all Americans killed or injured by gun violence, we strive for stronger gun safety laws that will help protect our families, communities, and country from senseless violence.

Today marks 17 years since the mass shooting at Columbine High School. Join us in taking a moment today to remember the victims and their families.
Let’s honor their memories by fixing the holes in our background check system that let dangerous people get guns, so no family ever has to endure the pain of losing a child to gun violence again.
Time and again we have seen what happens when we allow hatred to be heavily armed. It will happen again and again until our leaders act.
For #Orlando for the LGBT community, for all Americans who have been killed or injured by gun violence, we MUST ACT.
We’ve reached another tragic milestone.
There have been more than 200 school shootings since January 2013. At least 63 people were killed, and at least 156 injured in those shootings.
We need to elect leaders who support gun safety measures—not ones who push the NRA’s agenda of guns everywhere.
Saturday is the first day of National Gun Violence Survivors Week – when we ask everyone to shine a spotlight on the stories of Americans who have had loved ones taken by gun violence, who have been wounded or threatened with a gun, or witnessed a shooting.
We’ll be sharing the stories of survivors and statistics that highlight the impact of gun violence.
